Suzuki Piano
The Program is for Suzuki piano students of age 4 and above at all levels. A hallmark of the Tutti Music Studio is the depth of teaching experience each faculty member brings to their classes.

Course Outline

Program components include: 

• one on one lesson

• small group class emphasizing tone, technique, chamber music opportunity (once every two weeks)
• optional one on one parent class to help you teach your children at home
• a performance recital

Progression Path

Early focus on listening and imitation: The Suzuki Method emphasises the importance of listening to music and learning by imitation, just as children learn to speak their native language.

Gradual introduction of reading music: While reading music is not the primary focus at the beginning, it is gradually introduced as the student progresses.

Group lessons and recitals: Suzuki students often participate in group lessons and recitals, providing opportunities for performance and socialisation.

Emphasis on practice: Regular and consistent practice is essential for progress in the Suzuki Method, and parents are expected to be actively involved in their child's practice routine.Mastery of core repertoire: The Suzuki Method has a specific sequence of pieces that students learn, with an emphasis on mastering the core repertoire before moving on to more advanced pieces.

Continuous learning and improvement: Suzuki students are encouraged to continue learning and improving throughout their musical journey, with a focus on long-term development rather than short-term goals.

Private Parent Class

If you really can’t come to assist your children’s private class, these classes will equip you with tools and tips to help cultivate a positive and productive environment and promote success in your Suzuki journey at home. (no need to prepare your instrument)

Mr. Arthur

Royal Northern College of Music (UK)Master of Performance

Mr. Arthur studied in England with pianist Peter Bradley-Fulgoni at Shrewsbury School and then at the Royal Northern College of Music with Frank Wibaut and Richard Ormrod, where he received the RNCM scholarship award and graduated with Distinction in Master of Performance and Bachelor of Music (Hons).

As a concert pianist, Mr. Arthur has performed in prestigious venues around the world including Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and Hong Kong Cultural centre, and also places and festivals in Germany, Italy, France and China. He appeared as a soloist to perform the Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1 and Grieg Piano Concert with the Shrewsbury School Orchestra whilst he was a student there.

Mr. Arthur has won numerous awards in his piano career, including 1st Place at the Hong Kong Youth Piano Competition in 2015, 2nd place at the Shrosphire ‘Young Musician of the Year’ in 2016, and 4th place in piano division at the Bromsgrove International Musicians’ Competition in 2023. He also performed Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 in the RNCM Concerto Competition Finals in 2019.

Mr Arthur has taught the piano for over 6 years to students of all ages from beginners to conservatoire level. He worked as a piano teacher in a primary school in the U.K. where he provided both 1-1 and group piano lessons to beginners at age 6-11.

Ms. Queena

The Royal Academy of Music, London
Master of Arts in Piano Performance

Ms. Queena Chu graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London with her Master's Degree with Distinction.

She has recently performed as a soloist at the Tsuen Wan Town Hall in Hong Kong and St Michael's Church, Sittingbourne in the UK. Her recent recordings are now available on YouTube.

She studied with British pianist Professor Colin Stone. Queena also has received the Royal Academy of Music Licentiate in Piano Teaching and has a few years of teaching experience.

Ms. Queena graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with BMus(Hons) degree in 2020 and studied with pianist Hui Ling.

She has been performing both solo and chamber concerts since the age of four, across the globe in venues such as the Boston Walnut Hill School for the Art, Westminster Music Library in London, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong City Hall, etc.

She was in the Junior music programme at the HKAPA from the age of six and participated in competitions with awards at a young age. Her recent success was at the 20th Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open Competition, Open Class, with First Class Award, 5th Prize Winner etc.
